Pinedale has an incredible Fine Arts Council. For our tiny little town in the middle of nowhere, we do get exposure to some cultural events. Our Fine Arts Council can be found here, and you should check it out; I think you’d be impressed.
Tonight, we were presented with The Second City, a comedy club based out of Chicago that has for the past fifty years rolled out names such as Bill Murray, the Belushi brothers, Steven Colbert, John Candy, Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, and sooooo many more. Their set was awesome, and their improv skits were incredible to watch. If you ever get the chance to witness an event, go for it, and if you want to see their schedule you can find it here.
In the past we’ve witnessed acrobats, a Johnny Cash tribute band, the Portland Cello Project, ballet, choirs, and any number of other acts. We are lucky to have such a dedicated team of individuals at our disposal. Since Pinedale is so very cut off from the rest of the world, the Pinedale Fine Arts Council is one of my favorite organizations in town because it gives us all a tiny little glimpse at what life is outside our town limits, but especially the children.
Thank you PFAC!
